Synopsis: The Netherlands is the world’s leading host of child sexual abuse material. To push back, the nonprofit Offlimits runs a reporting center. After four years on the job, Eko is their longest-serving analyst. Each year, he and his colleagues review an average of 600,000 images and videos. Removal requests are sent to hosting companies. The most severe material is shared with police and Interpol, so victims can be identified and perpetrators prosecuted.
10 Reports in 10 Minutes follows Eko as he works through a series of incoming reports. The images on his screen are never shown to us. But Eko describes, precisely and without flinching, what he sees—and through his words, we feel the weight of it accumulating. He works fast, stays methodical, keeps his face steady, like a fighter pilot. Because that is the only way the work gets done. And yet the hurt of these children still reaches him.
