The mechanics of perception and subjective experience deliver a deep feeling of the reality of the world in and around us. And with that, what we know and feel as ‘truth’. But we are fallible: our machinery of perception is incomplete. Questioning, deconstructing and reconstructing experience itself makes me deeply curious to what that truth of our inside and outside world actually could be. Making work on the edge of film, documentary and art serve as a great canvas for that curiosity. Film as a feeling, an experience, a perception.  Memories, dreams, feelings.

I use cinematic tools like lyrical camera-movement within naturalistic settings, with a focus on analog 16mm film. I like to mix impressionistic and elliptical storystructures and combine them with atmospheric music and sounddesign. My style is intuitive, and always rooted in extensive research combined with a documentary approach, making short experimental documentaries and film installations.
