I make Expanded Cinema and documentary films mirroring mechanics of subjective experience.
I create film works that move between sensation and thought, where what is felt can become something understood. Through expanded cinema and poetic documentary, I invite viewers into experiences that reflect the layered and shifting nature of perception.
I am interested in the fallibility of the senses and in how both individuals and scientific or philosophical frameworks try to grasp what it means to be conscious, to observe, to exist. My work is rooted in these fields and explores what happens when such knowledge meets the language of cinema.
Working with 16mm film, high-speed recording, and multi-screen compositions, I aim for a cinema that does not only show but evokes. A cinema that makes perceptible the subtle forces shaping our inner and outer worlds and gives space to their movement and change.
